DQ Opens its 13th Outlet in Bahrain
BahrainDQ OPENS ITS 13th OUTLET IN HOORA
Dairy Queen announced the expansion of its Bahrain operation with the opening of a new restaurant in the Hoora area in presence of H.E. William Roebuck, Ambassador of US to Bahrain, International Dairy Queen President & CEO Mr. John Gainor, COO Mr. Jean Champagne, Faisal Jawad, Chairman & CEO, Jawad Business Group and media representatives from Bahrain. This location is the newest in the Dairy Queen family committed to offering every DQ fan a place where they can relax and share a great meal and one-of-a-kind soft-serve treats.
This cozy restaurant with comfortable seating also offers a quick home delivery option to the residents in the locality.
“We are excited to be opening DQ in Hoora to serve the people in the nearby areas more effectively. We are excited to welcome our fans to enjoy our full menu of delicious Grill items, and all our signature and innovative treats including the latest addition, DQ Bakes! We will also home deliver this delicious menu to the residents in the vicinity” said Ali AL Mansoor, General Manager for DQ at Jawad Business Group, who operates Dairy Queen in Bahrain.
John Gainor spoke about the brand’s long history with the Jawad Business Group.

10th Annual Jawad Mini Marathon
BahrainJawad Business Group held its 10th Annual Mini Marathon on 24th February from The Jawad Dome, Barbar and it received an overwhelming response from the people of Bahrain. Conducted under the patronage of the Governor of Northern Governorate, Ali Al Shaikh Abdul Hussein Al Asfoor, this had been taglined, “Run or Walk for the Cause”.
This marathon was organised to support children with Autism disorder. All proceeds from the race were donated to Bahrain Autistics Society.
Jawad Business Group thanked and appreciated efforts of the Ministry of Interior; The Northern Governor, Budaiya Police Station; the General Directorate of Traffic , the Community Police members, and all those who participated and contributed to the great success of the 10th Annual Jawad Mini Marathon.

JAWAD DOME HOSTS RENOWNED FRENCH ARTIST
Jawad Dome, BahrainArt lovers and collectors in Bahrain had an unprecedented opportunity to experience the brilliance of the figurative and symbolist ART movement in France through the work of renowned French artist, Aimè Venel. Celebrating French Week, Jawad Dome presented the “Paintings Exhibition” from 18 January – 24 January 2017, launched with an opening reception at the La Fontaine Centre of Contemporary Art, where the paintings were on display for the general public all through the week. H.E. Bernard Regnauld-Fabre, Ambassador of France to Bahrain inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of Faisal Jawad, Chairman and CEO of Jawad Business Group, dignitaries, VIPs and media. The exhibition subsequently opened at the Jawad Dome, again launched by the French Ambassador in the presence of the artist and officials supporting the French Week.
A French painter born in 1950, Aimé Venel represents a new definition of elegance in the contemporary figurative arts. Heir to the Great Symbolists of the end of the 19th century, his body of work has been described as luminous. With an impressive background of training and experience he has worked in the studio of Master Edouard MAC'AVOY (1905-1991), student of Bonnard and Vuillard and who worked with Braque. Named one of the "World's Best Artists for the Year 2003" by the World Art Celebrities Journal, Venel’s work stands testament to an outstanding talent. The exhibition presented Art collectors of Bahrain with an exceptional opportunity to purchase and own a world-class piece of art. For all art lovers it was equally an opportunity to experience and enjoy the work of a master.
